Abstract

Global biodiversity, responsible for therelative climatic and ecological balance of the last tens of thousands of years, has undergone an accelerated and particular decline on the planet as a whole, ande specially in South America, as a result ofanthropic actions. This article aims to reflecton how the degradation of the environment is related to the distancing of human beings from the natural world, not only because of their physical distance, but because of their soul separation from nature as a result of a pedagogical process that simplifies complex and systemic relationships. Through the analysis of the methodological process, which considers the human development in a broad way,in their experiences, judgments, sleep andconcepts, it was discussed how teaching can bring students closer or farther awayf rom the phenomena. Then, we soughtto analyze the teaching of the plant kingdom and zoology, in which plants are presented through models disconnected from experiences and animals are seen asbeings finalized in themselves, making their physical structures more relevant than their ecological relationships. In this context, adeeper look at the teaching of natural sciences through a Goethean approach, contributing to a deeper and truer bond between human beings and nature through the cultivation and development of living thinking. It is concluded that for the development of an adequate methodological process, it is necessary to consider the living beings in their totality, through a systemic approach, and thehuman being in their deep learning process.
