This paper is an experience report of the Extension Project in Economics and Art, which aimed at an understanding of the meaning of Fraternity for Ru-dolf Steiner and a literacy in economics, having art as a mediator. Thematic workshops were held among Economics undergraduate students from UFJF and high school students from Paineira Waldorf School. The themes in Economy were worked in an imagetic way and the group discussions aimed to stimulate an understanding of the processes of choice, production and work, without having the conceptual base presented first. The students produced throughout the year mind maps and a letter to the invisible workers. As a conclusion came the perception that, for social trimembration to be a reality in the future, we must develop thinking in economics and build a sense of altruism in production as a balance to selfishness in consumption.
