um olhar sobre os fundamentos sociológicos em Rudolf Steiner

Abstract

This article presents the results of a theoretical research that aimed to answer the question: is there in Rudolf Steiner’s thought, evidence andconditions sufficient to identify an Anthroposophical Sociology? The hypothesis that guided these reflections, pointed out that yes, there would be a sociologica lfoundation in Steiner. Thiss hould be identified throughout his works, noting how it is possible to establish a dialogue between Steiner and the essential aspects of sociology. Thus, methodologically, we resorted to an analysis of Sociology, its foundation and theoretical-methodological aspects, present in the formulation of each of its founding authors, Comte, Durkheim, Marx and Weber. Thus, having presented the premises, methods and objectives of these authors, it was analyzed whether they would be present in Steiner’s thought, to confirm or not the hypothesis postulated here. It was argued that the ultimate foundation of sociology consists in the search for understanding the relationship between subject and society in capitalist modernity, and the contradictions that emerge from these, withthis, each author proposed, as it was verified, answers capable of guiding the actions of individuals aiming to overcome the identified contradictions. These conceptions were also present in Steiner’s thought, who also said that the social issue could only be well developed if it took into accountthe aspects of Spiritual Science. It is thus concluded that, through the theoretical analysis under taken here, there is validity in postulating an Anthroposophical Sociology based on Steiner’s thought. Thus, it is understood that a new frontier for the understanding of Anthroposophy itself can also be inaugurated.
